To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission mt on January 9, 1974, and by majority
vote, actual votes contained in folders returned herevdth, recommends as follows:
1. Request of Rev, Wesley Tillman, for a special use permit for a while
home for residential purposes, be approved subject to conditions as set
out.
2. Request of Paul B. Talley for special use permit be tabled with request
that City Clerk notify applicant to appear for meeting of February 13,
1974, at Federal Building, if possible for applicant to appear.
3, Request of Mary (Allbritton) Long for rezoning and a special use permit
for a rest horns be tabled with request that City Clark notify applicant
to appear for meeting of February 13, 1974, at Federal Building, if
possible for applicant to appear,
4. Request of tarry Haertling - J. E. Cook's Company for rezoning of tract
on Nest Independence Street from R-4 to C-2 be denied.
5. Recommend that the City Council give favorable consideration to the
request of the Division of Welfare for change in Zoning Regulations to
permit licensed child care anywhere in the City, with a program patterned
after the Columbia, Missouri 'Zoning concerning child care. Vote For - b,
Against - 1, Abstain - 1.
