To the Mayor and City Councilmen
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met on Wednesday, February 12, 1975.
By majority vote, actual vote counted and in file, we recommend as
follows:
1. That the request of Service Packaging, Inc. for a Special Use
Permit to allow C-3 usage in a C-2 area be approved.
2. That the request of R. D. Bettiegrue for a Special Use Permit
to place a trailer on 1101 North Water Street be denied.
3. That a proposedzoning ordinance change by the City Attorney
changing Section 30-38 (C) be approved. The vote was unanimous.
The purpose change would read:
"30-38 (C)
(24) Any "C" District use in a more restrictive "C" District."
4. That the request by the Drury Company and Maple Joyce to rezone
a tract bounded by Mt.Auburn Road, Kimberly Drive and Farrar
Drive from R-1 to R-4 be approved.
5. Approval was given to the proposed record plat submitted by
Riverside Home Builders, Inc. for Westfield Court. Subject
to such modifications as agreed to by the Developer and City
Engineer.
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends to the Council that
as land is developed a plat is to be submitted to the Planning and
Zoning Commission for approval of the portion adjoining new streets.
