Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday September 10, 1975 and
conducted a public hearing on a proposed Major Street Plan. All members
were present and five citizens attended in order to express their views.
On motion made, seconded and carried, the Planning and Zoning Commission
recommended the approval of the Major Street Plan to the City Council
except that the Collector Road from Farrar Drive entrance off Route K to
Mt. Auburn Road be eliminated from the Major Street Plan map by resolution
as follows:
`✓ Be it resolved by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, as follows:
1.) That the Major Street Plan for the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, prepared by the Missouri Department of Community
Affairs, a copy of which is attached hereto and designated
as Exhibit No. 1, is hereby adopted and approved in all re-
spects by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
2.) That this Major Street Plan for the City of Cape Cirardeau,
Missouri, shall be submitted to the City Council of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for its further consideration.
After discussion the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended engage-
ment of the Regional Planning Commission to assist the Commission on
selected matters of zoning and planning studies as called for by the
Commission

said newspaper is a daily newspaper printed and published in the City of
Cape, Girardeau and State of Missouri and has a general circulation in the
City and County of Cape Girardeau and State of Missouri, and has had such
general circulation in said county continuously, regularly and consecutively
for a period of more than ten years next before the date of the first publica-
tion mentioned above, and has been likewise continuously, regularly and
msecuttvely published up to the time of the making of this affidavit for
period of more than ten years next before the date of the jurat to this
+publisher's affidavit or proof of publication, and that the rate charged there_
