Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, May 12, 1976, with the
following members present: Mayor Tooke, Richard Giles, Vernon Fee, C. A. Bohnsack,
Bradshaw vmith, Allton George, George 41rape, Dr, Huopn, Robert Hemnerley, and
Guy Lowes, 3y majority vote (actual vote count is in the file) the Commission
recommends the follo�: ng:
1. That the request of Cane Girardeau County for a Special Use Permit for
(.Audent Housing) a rooming house at 37 South Frederick Street be denied,
2. That the Request of 1dlliam G. and Mpry Jo Master::on for a Special Use Permit
for an apartment bnildinp at 722 aryl 724 Themis Street be approved,
3. That the repnest of Cape Retirement Community, Inc, for a Special Use Permit
to allow a fourth story on their proposed building to be located North and
East of the intersection of Independence Street and !"Dunt Auburn Road be
anproved,
4. That the Commission recommends the pronosed Ordinance for amending Section
3n-37 (c) (3) of Code of Crdinances of the City be approved as presented to
the Commission with an addition to the proposed chance to per^it narking in
the front yards under conditions specified in the request,
5. That the rem;est of Edgar A. Rohlfeld for a special Use Permit for an 4-4 use
(2 bedroom anartmvnt) in a C-3 .=one at 629 Good Hope Street be approved.
