Cape Girardeau, Missouri 63701
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday. August 11, 1976. The
commission acted on the following recommendations with absence of a quorm.
By majority vote, actual vote counted and in file, we recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Calvary Temple Church Trustees for a Special. Use
Permit for a church at northeast corner of Scotts Lane and periling St.
he approved.
2. The Commission recommends approval of an ordinance amending Section 30
of the code of ordinances for the city of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, by
adding thereto one new paragraph, relating to zoning.
3. The Connission recommends approval of an ordinance amending Section 3U-3
and Section 30-36 (B) (6) of the code of ordinances of the city of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri to provide for regulation of fences over six (6)
feet in height.
4. The Commission considerer) the application of Larry Haertling to rezone a
tract containing 3.05 acres lying north of Independence Street and adjoin-
ing LaMesa Condominiums which had been tabled at the July 14, 1976 meeting.
Upon further information being furnishes] by the applicant and by the city
attorney the Commission recommended that the running request be recommended
for approval and that a preliminary plan of Lots 3 thru 8 by approved
pursuant to applicable subdivision regulations and subject to such modi-
fications and variances as the council should need to grant.
