To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, December 14, 1977. By
majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Vernon Landgraf to rezone Part of Outlot 41, at 609
South vest End Boulevard, be approved subject to the request being modified
to a Special Use Permit for housing for the elderly for the full acreage
of the tract. The zoning request to vacate Louisiana Avenue, from Jefferson
to College was tabled until presentation of plans.
2. That the request of 'Willis S. Wolfenkoehler for a Special Use Permit for a
concrete parking space in the front yard at 2027 Woodlawn be approved.
3. That the request of William R. Schott to rezone 2900 Kegs Road and 1707
Mount Auburn Road from R-1 to C-1 be approved.
4. That the request of Melvin H. Schmidt for rezoning at 2906 Kage Road from
R-1 to C-1 be approved.
5. That the request of J. L. Estes for rezoning the Northwest corner of
Perryville Road and Cape Rock Drive for a 7-11 Convenient Food Market be
denied.
Mother action taken by the Planning and Zoning Commission is as follows:
1. The request of John Freeze and Gene Matthews to amend the subdivision plat
of Lot 20, Chateau Oaks, was tabled.
