To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met January 11, 1979, By majority vote,
actual vote counted and in the file, we recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Paul D. Blattner for a Special Use Permit for a miniature
golf course in a C-2 district at 1028 North Kingshighway be approved with the
stipulation that a minimum of twenty parking spaces be provided.
<. That the request of James 0. Hunte for a Special Use Permit for a farm and
equipment storage building on Collins Drive in an R-1 district be approved.
3. That the request of Cape Retirement Community, Inc. for a Special Use Permit
for two beauty shops and a retail pharmacy within the main building be
approved with the stipulation that no external commercial signs be allowed.
4. That the request of Jay and Diane Hunze for a Special Use Permit to erect an
addition to an existing residence at 1815 North Kingshighway be approved.
5. That the request of Michael Herbst, et al to rezone 802, 806, 814, and 822
William to G-2 Commercial be denied.
The request of Aquamsi Iand Company to vacate a portion of Middle Street was
tabled.
