To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, February 14, 1979. By
majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Southeast Missouri Hospital to rezone a tract at 1702
Lacey Street to a C-3 District for a new Cancer Treatment Center be approved.
2. That the request of Drury Industries, Inc. to rezone the Southeast Quadrant
of Route K and Mount Auburn Road be approved with the exception of that area
v shown as Tract 5 on Exhibit A. Plot Plan Sketch, as included in the rezoning
request application.
3. That the request of Aquamsi Land Co. to vacate Middle Street from the North
line of the Cape Litho Builders, Inc. and Heuer properties to the South
boundary of the Merriwether Street right—of—way be approved subject to an
easement provision for a turnaround at the North end of the remaining
portion of Middle Street.
4. That the preliminary plat of Charlestown Estates be approved.
5. That the preliminary plat of Chateau Oaks No. 2 be approved.
