To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, May 9, 1979. By majority
vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Joel flay and Bobby ',4ilkerson for a Special Use Permit
for a small upholstery business at 605 South West End Boulevard be denied.
2. That the request of Earl Siemers to rezone a tract at the intersection of
I-55 and Route K from R-1 to C-2 be approved.
3. That the request of Sheldon Gardner and Gwendolyn Stevens for a Special Use
Permit for a book store at :'006 Bend Road be approved.
Another action taken by the Planning and :ening Commission is as follows:
1. A public hearing on the request of West Park Associates, Inc. for rezoning
a portion of the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Mount Auburn
Road and Route K from C-2 to C-4 was set for June 13, 1979, at 7:30 P.M. in
the Council Room at City Hall, 401 Independence Street.
