To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, June 13, 1979, for the
public hearing on the request of West Park Associates, Inc. for rezoning a
portion of the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Mount Auburn Road and
Route K from C-2 to C-4.
Introductory remarks were made by Mr. Charles Drury. May Company
representative Gary Kobes gave a slide presentation of the external and
internal design of the mall and grounds.
w Janet Lenz, an engineer with Booker Associates, Inc, the firm designing
the West Park Mall, described the drainage and storm sewer -retention basin
system for the mall.
The traffic volume and design for the mall was explained by Booker
Associates, Inc. traffic engineer, Joe Marking.
By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we recommend that
the request of West Hark Associates, Inc. for rezoning a portion of the
southeast quadrant of the intersection of Mount Auburn Road and Route K from
C-2 to G-4 be approved.
