To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, September 12, 1979. $
majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Riverside (Jest Builders, Inc. for rezoning from R-1 to
R-4 for apartments at 3006 and 3007 Kisteria Drive be approved.
2. That the request of Michael D. and Ivnda 14. Haworth for a Special Use Permit
for a dance studio at 2581 Fairlane be denied.
3. That the request of Kasten Masonry Sales, Inc, for vacation of Second and
Cooper Streets in the vicinity of the IJastewater Treatment Plan be approved
subject to clarification of the City's easements in this area.
4. That the preliminary plat of Doctor's Park Third Subdivision be approved
with a variance from 60 feet to 40 feet on the streets right—of—way.
.mother action taken by the Planning and Zoning Commission is as follows:
1. The sketch plan of the Ruben Schade tract was approved.
