To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, October 10, 1979. By
majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we recommend as follows:
1. That the request of C. F. Rudesill to rezone Lots 229, 230, 231, 265, 216,
and 217 in 'Westfield Third Subdivision from R-1 to R-4 be approved.
2. That the request of A. D. Price to rezone Lots 7 through 11 in Pindwood
Park Second Subdivision from C-2 to R-4 be approved.
3. That the application of Cary Arnold for a Special Use Permit for a mini -
storage warehouse on Lot 12, Pindwood Park Second Subdivision be denied.
4. That the preliminary plat of Starwood Estates be approved.
5. That the preliminary plat of Cape Is Croix Development be approved subject
to the radius of the cul-de-sac being changed from 40 feet to 52 feet.
6. That the preliminary plat of Independence West Commercial Subdivision be
referred to the City Engineer for further study.
The Commission moved to establish a deadline of noon on the Friday prior to
the Wednesday meeting of the Commission for receiving matters to be considered
by the Commission. Items received after noon of that day will be placed on the
agenda of the following month.
