To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, November 14, 1979. By
majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we recommend as follows:
1. That the preliminary plat of Independence West Commercial Subdivision be
approved subject to the elimination of all the storm sewer drainage
easements and all references thereto in the dedication on the plat.
2. The request of Don Shrum to rezone all of lot 1 and the east half of Lot 2,
.` John Painter Partition, Range A from R-1 residential to C-1 commercial was
returned to the presenter indicating that the owner of the property has to
make the application.
3. The request of Larry Haertling to rezone Lots 1 through 7 of the proposed
Crites Sixth Subdivision to R-4 and the request of the City of Cape
Girardeau to rezone the undeveloped land in Outlot 82 owned by West Cape
Development Corporation from C-1 and C-2 to R-4 were tabled with the
stipulation that Larry Haertling come before the Commission with a Master
Plan for the area in Cutlot 82 owned by West Cape Development Corporation
within sixty days.
