Gentlemen:
The Flannin� and >:oniag Commission :net 'dednesday, November 12, 1980. Fy
majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Gary Arnold for a Special Use Permit for a parkinE area
at 1211 'Dorothy Street in an R-2 zone be denied.
2. That the request of 'Iitchell and Phyllis Spinks for a Special Use Permit
for a beauty shor at 1219 11erriwether Street in an R-3 zone be denied.
3. That the request of Joe A. *Burk for a Special Use Permit for a nursing, hone
on nart of Int 2 and Lots 3 and 4, Crites First Addition, an R-4 zone, and
'art of Outlet 82, a C-2 zone, be approved subject to the assurance that
dhitener Street west to Silver Snrings Road will be raved.
4• That, the request of 'Tilton R. Shrum for a Special Use Permit for a beauty
shop at 121, Albert Street in an H-2 zone be denied.
5• That the request of Vernon 3. Rhodes and twin 3. Rhodes to rezone a tract
in the 1700 block of North Kingshighway, East side, from R-1 to C-2 be
approved.
At this November 12, 1980, meeting of the commission, the owner of this
same tract amended his request to include a Srecial Use Permit for a warehouse
along Route J on this sane area to be rezoned. The commission recommends
a,rrovai of the Special Use Permit.
