To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, August 12, 1981. By
majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Frank D. Bean for a Special Use Permit for apartments
at 1209 Broadway be denied.
2. That the request of A. Scott McDowell to rezone property at 2710 Hawthorne
from R-1 Single Family District, to R-2 Single Family District, be approved
as follows:
That the property shown on the diagram as Lot B be rezoned R-2 not to
include the area of the narrow strip along the south line of the area
indicated as Lot A on the same diagram.
