To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, June 13, 1984.
By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we recommend
as follows:
1. That the Final Development Plans for Downtown Cape Girardeau by
Booker Associates and the proposal for Physical Improvements to
Downtown Cape by Carl Lehne & Henderson Gants Architects be
accepted as presented excepting paragraph g. on page 31 under
Section 11.0 Technical Compliance of the Final Development Plan
by Booker.
2. That the request of Drury Development Corporation to rezone
property at 2942 Bloomfield Road to C-2 Commercial from R-1
Residential be approved with the modification that 200 feet
back from Bloomfield Road be retained as R-1.
3. That the request of Donald E. and Shirley J. Lacey for a Special
Use Permit for an auto service, self service station and novelty
store at 16 South Frederick Street be approved.
4. That the preliminary plat of Randol Fourth Subdivision be
approved.
5. That the request of Narvol A. and Dorothy K. Randol to rezone
that part of the preliminary plat of Randol Fourth Subdivision
that is R-1 Residential to C-2 General Commercial District be
approved.
