To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, September 12,
1984. By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we
recommend as follows:
1. That the request of First Free Will Baptist Church for a Special
Use Permit to build a church in an R-1 zone be approved.
2. That the request of Eugene and Sue Ellen Penny for a Special Use
Permit for a church in a C-1 zone be approved with a one-year
time limit and that the necessary parking spaces be provided.
3. That the Preliminary Plat of Mount Auburn Subdivision be approved.
The request of Ben and Lucille LeGrand for a Special Use Permit
in an R-2 zone was tabled pending the applicants reconsideration of
their need.
The Commission also recommends that the date indication
progression phrases on the lower half of page one of the application be
filled out and that Section 30-5 (h) of the Zoning Ordinance be
changed to include posting notices of the Planning and Zoning meeting
on the tract.
