To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentiemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, July 13,
1988. By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we
act and/or recommend as follows:
1. That the request of B. W. and Nancy Birk for a
Special Use Permit for a residence and commercial
use in the same building at 5 South Lorimier Street
in a C-3 zone be approved.
�. That the request of Terry and Dorothy Ludwig, Larry
and Diane Decker, and Terry and Linda Burnette for
a Special Use Permit for apartments at 49 South
Park in an M-1 zone be approved.
3. That the request of Dennis Larch for a Special Use
Permit for a two family residence at 16 North Ellis
Street in a C-1 zone be approved.
4. That the request of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kuntze for a
Special Use Permit for a greennouse at 2327 Boutin
Drive be approved contingent upon approval Of
adequate drive access, that the building meet all
City codes, and that off-street parking be
Provided.
5. That the revised preliminary plat of Randal Farms
Subdivision be approved. This development will be
done in sections with the area along Belleridge
Pike being constructed first, then the area to the
west of Woodland Hills Estates will be developed.

in other business, the Commission voted to change the
deadline for accepting applications. The new deadline for
applications t0 be Placed On the agenda is two weeks prior to the
meeting date. Also notices to adjoining property owners will be
mailed oui one week Prior to the meeting date Instead of the
Friday prior to the meeting.
This cnange is being made in an effort to give the City staff
adequate time for their review process of applications, and also
to Provide adequate notice to adjoining property owners of
upcoming changes.
These changes will go into effect for items that will go
before Planning and Zoning at their September meeting.
