The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, October 12, 1988.
By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we act and/or
recommend as Follows:
1. That the request of Consolidated Mutual Investments, Inc.
and Harvey W. McHarry for a Special Use Permit for an
apartment and business at 123 North Main Street in a C-3
zone be approved.
That the request of Riverside West Builders Supply, Inc.
to rezone 303 South Spanish Street from R-4, Multi -Family
Residential, to C-1, Local Commercial District, be
approved.
3. 7liat the request of Patricia H. Leavell for a Special Use
Permit for an art studio and gallery for art sales with
siq;is and a residence at 151 South Spanish Street in an R-4
zone be apprnved.
fn usher business, the Commission denied the preliminary plat
submitted for Mount Auburn Subdivision No. 3 because of some items that
dio not conform to the Subdivision Regulations and Zoning Ordinance.
Toe developer will be made aware of these items- and resubmit the plat to
the Commission at the next meeting.
ifiere were some recommendations made by the Community Development
sreff regarding changes to the Zoning Ordinance. These will be drafted
and presented to the Commission at the next meeting.
