Executive Session
March 10, 1998
Airport Restaurant
the Airport Advisory Board entered into Executive Session to discuss restaurant lease issues
Mr. Loy informed the board of interest shown by Susan and Brad Stanfield in operating a
Blimpie's franchise from the restaurant.
The Stanfield's intent is to be open for breakfast to around 2:00 p.m. Mr. Loy discussed with
them the possibility of operating the bar area as well. They are not interested in the bar. but are
not opposed to someone else opening it.
They are also looking into the possibility of selling pre -made sandwiches in the gift shop and/or
the bar (if it opens) during the hours which they are not open.
The board felt that Mr. Loy should continue negotiating with the Stanfield's to operate the
Blimpie's franchise with the same type lease as was utilized previously for the restaurant and
meeting space portion of the facility.
II. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss in Executive Session, Mr. Ferguson motioned to exit
executive session with Mr. Withers seconding the motion.
