FAA Inspector. An agreement has been made with Mr. Ron Burger for placement of a gate for security
purposes on the farmer's access road at the end of Runway 20. During the inspection, it was noted that
we had crops growing in the Obstacle Free Area (OFA). Crops are considered an obstacle and so
therefore, we have approximately 100 more acres to maintain. The airport does not own all of the land
considered as part of the OFA. Some land acquisition will need to be placed in the Master Plan to
acquire the land necessary to come into compliance with the OFA regulations.
