I. OLD BUSINESS
Discussion regarding Essential Air Service airline proposals — Mr. Loy informed the Board
that each Airline's financial report were requested by Mayor Jay Knudston. He reported that
being a larger company, Great Lakes had their reports available on their website; however Air
Choice One supplied a letter stating that the USDOT has approved their bid and does not require
them to provide that information before a decision has been made. Discussion followed on the
information supplied for both airlines at the previous meeting. It was agreed that there would be
a significant drop in average boardings if we were to go with a smaller carrier. Mr. Wildman
moved to enter in a contract agreement with Great Lakes Aviation providing service to St. Louis.
The motion was tabled for discussion regarding service to Kansas City. After heavy discussions,
Mr. Rollins seconded the motion previously made by Mr. Wildman. The motion passed by
unanimous vote.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:46 p.m.
