advised them that as of this date, Commander had not vacated the facility after receiving a
thirty (30) day eviction notice submitted and received by CPAC on May 16, 2011.
Discussion continued regarding legal options for the airport and City to vacate Commander
from the premises. Additional discussion related to the legal rights of Jim Richards and
potentially others who might have a security interest in Commander assets. As a result,

Missouri airports as provided by the Columbia airport. The data compared air tragic
operations for the first four months of calendar year 2011 for Jefferson City. Columbia,
Cape Girardeau, Joplin, St. Joseph, and Branson. The data indicated Cape Girardeau ranked
second only to St. Joseph which obviously sees a tremendous amount of military traffic.
Several board members noted that the ATCT hours of operations in Cape Girardeau were
the least of the six (6) airports listed yet Cape Girardeau still ranked second. Discussion
continued regarding airport lower hours and how high Cape Girardeau might rank with the
air traffic counts reflected by longer hours.
2012 Air Festival — Mr. Lov reported that he and Katrina had completed research with the
local hotels regarding the three potential air festival dates selected by the air festival
committee, and discovered the hotels varied on which dates were best for occupancy and
best rates. It was clear, however, that the July 20" and 21" date was not the favored date
based oa other events already booked. Mr. Loy noted that in his opinion, .lune 29"' and 30°i
would be the optimal date based on the ability to market close to the Judy 4`' holiday.
Although this weekend falls within the City's current fiscal year, Mr. Loy did receive
approval from the City Manager and Finance Director to proceed with these dates based on
the ability to break even.
