Cape Aviation Conference

Others Present: Bruce Loy, Airport Manager; Derrick main, Cape Aviation supervisor;
Katrina Amos, Administrative Coordinator
1. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:
The meeting was called to order at 5:10pm. Minutes were not evailahle for the Febrrwn
meeting but will be available for approval at the next meeting.
H. APPEARANCES
A. None
111. OLD BUSINESS
A. Airport Activity Report — Mr. Loy presented the airport usage report for March 21114.
Airline enplanements were down slightly for the month. There were flights cancelled due
to weather as well as sonic mechanical issues.
B. Cape .Aviation Report — Mr. Irwin presented the Cape Aviation Fuel Report lox March
?014. Fuel sales were up for the month with an increase in Jet A sales. Corporate traffic
has increased with Menard's and other businesses flying in/out daily.
C. Project Updates —
• Commander Update-- Mr. Loy informed the Hoard that Commander assets are
being boxed up and removed. He noted the moving company has made a lot of
progress and cleared out it lot of space. Discussion continued on the topic.
• T -Hangar Construction Update Mr. Loy intbrmed the Board that a walk-thru
was held March 12th. 2014. There are some issues with water entering the hangars
when it rains. Zoellner Construction and Crawford Murphy and Tilly. Inc. (CMI)
are trying to come up with a solution. Discussion continued on the topic.

IV. NEW BUSINESS
A. Discussion Regarding the Revival of the 2014 Air Festival - Mr. Loy informed
the Board that plans are moving forward for the 2014 air testival. Mr. Loy has
contracted with most of the performers and is still working on sponsorships. I le
noted that sponsorships are not where he hoped they Mould be and believes the
cancellation had a huge impact. He noted that he's had conversations with Isle
Casino Cape Girardeau as well as Lawless I larlcy Davidson and believes they will
sponsor in some capacity. He is meeting with them to discuss the social events
and other ways they may consider being involved. -I here are still difficulties with
securing volunteers in various areas but Mr. Loy is hopeful this will be resolved
soon. Where are several volunteer meetings scheduled to be held in the next fcNN
weeks. Discussion continued on the topic.
