Some typographical/grammatical errors were noted and requests were made for them to be corrected. Seesing referred to section 18-F, and remarked that the Pilot's Club sometimes suspends meetings in the summer months. Overbey suggested that the period of 30 days be changed to 90 days in section 18-E to cover these situations. It was suggested that "and members" be added to Section 8. Waltz recommended that a paragraph on attorney's fees be added to the bottom of page 4. He furnished the wording for this paragraph. Seesing questioned the liability limits in the agreement as possibly being too high. It was decided to change the limits to "not less than $500,000 for one person and $300,000 for any one '. occurrence ...". Maki suggested that an insurance clause be inserted as Section 17 naming the Lessor as additional insured and requesting a certificate of insurance from the Lessee. Maki requested that the Board take out the requirements for property damage and he provided the wording for this addition. Maki suggested broadening the tax clause (Section 11) to include "other assessments or charges for which it is legally responsible." and to remove the reference to personal property taxes. McClanahan brought up the cost of a sewer hook-up as being around $1,000. He inquired about the possibility of the City waiving the sewer hook-up fee for the Pilot's Club. Seesing suggested letting the Pilot's Club work that out with the City directly, as not to set any precedence with the land lease. Maki requested that the Board strike the last sentence on page 1 and add a paragraph under Section 18 about the Lessor's right to relocate Lessee to a suitable location. Maki provided the wording for this addition which was lettered "A" under Section 18. Walker made a motion to recommend approval of the land lease between the Aircraft Owners & Pilot's Club of Cape Girardeau and the City of Cape Girardeau, as amended, ht the City Council. Overbey seconded the motion . The motion was unanimously approved, with two members, Nessler and McClanahan, abstaining from the vote.
