11 SPECIAL SESSION – "FJL 8,2011 11
The Cape Girardeau City Council convened in special session on Friday, April 8, 2011, at 4:00
p.m., with Mayor Harry Rediger presiding and Council Members Mark Lanzotti, Meg Proffer,
Loretta Schneider, and Kathy Swan present. Debra Tracy and John Voss were absent.
Mayor Rediger stated that the April 5, 2011, municipal general election results had been received
from County Clerk Kara Clark Summers. Pursuant to Section 7.09(a) of the City Charter, the City
Council canvassed the returns and declared the results of the April 5, 2011, general election, upon
Mrs. Schneider's motion, Mrs. Swan's second, and the following vote: Ayes, Lanzotti, Proffer,
Rediger, Schneider, and Swan. Nays, none. The results of the election were as follows:
Proposition I – Wastewater Treatment Fzcility - Sales Tax Extension

Proposition 2 – Wastewater Treatment Facility- Bond Issuance:

Question - Smoking Ban

There being no further business, the City Council adjourned at 4:10 p.m. upon Mr. Lanzotti's
motion, Mrs. Proffers' second, and the following vote: Lanzotti, Proffer, Rediger, Schneider,
Swan. Nays, none..
