11 SPECIAL SESSION — FEBRUARY 5, 2010 11
The Cape Girardeau City Council convened in special session on Friday, February 5, 2010, at
12:00 noon, with Mayor Jay B. Knudtson presiding and Council Members Charlie Herbst, Mark
Lanzotti, Marcia Ritter, Loretta Schneider, Debra Tracy and John Voss present.
Mayor Knudtson stated that the February 2, 2010, municipal primary election results had been
received from County Clerk Kara Clark Summers. Pursuant to Section 7.09(a) of the City Charter,
the City Council canvassed the returns and declared the results of the February 2, 2010, primary
election, upon Mr. Herbst's motion, Mr. Voss' second, and the following vote: Ayes, Herbst,
Knudtson, Lanzotti, Ritter, Schneider, Tracy and Voss. Nays, none. The results of the election
were as follows:

There being no further business, the City Council adjourned at 12:10 p.m. upon Mr. Voss' motion,
Mr. Lanzotti's second, and the following vote: Herbst, Knudtson, Lanzotti, Ritter, Schneider,
Tracy, and Voss.
