AN -ORDINANCE NAMING THAT PORTION OF THE OLD JACKSON ROAD
FROM WEST BROADWAY TO KINGSHIGHWAY AND FROM KINGSHIGHWAY
NORTH TOWARD JACKSON, MISSOURI, TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, KINGSWAY. DRIVE, .
AND REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES.
WHEREAS, that portion of the Old Jackson Road from West
Broadway to Kingshighway and from Kingshighway North to-
ward Jackson, Missouri, to the corporate limits of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, has never been named,
and
WHEREAS, the property owners fronting on said road have
petitioned the City.Council to name said road, NOW THERE-
FORE,
BE .IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That that portion of the Old Jackson 'Road
from West Broadway to Kingshighway and from Kingshighway
North toward Jackson Missouri, to the corporate limits
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, be and the same
is hereby named KINGSWAY DRIVE.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3', That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage.
