A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION TO
THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR THE RECONNECTING
COMMUNITIES AND NEIGHBORHOODS GRANT PROGRAM
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1 . The City Manager, for and on behalf of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby authorized to execute an
application to the Office of the Secretary of Transportation
through the United States Department of Transportation, for the
Reconnecting Communities and Neighborhoods Grant Program to
study connectivity issues along Highway 74 and Shawnee Parkway,
and is hereby authorized to execute all necessary documents, and
to receive payment on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau.
Summaries of said Application are attached to this Resolution •
and made a part hereof.
