A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE MISSOURI
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR
SHAWNEE PARK SPORTS COMPLEX VISITOR
IMPROVEMENTS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City Manager, for and on behalf of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby authorized to execute a
grant agreement with the Missouri Department of Economic
Development for a Local Tourism Asset Development Grant Award to
assist in the funding of Shawnee Park Sports Complex Visitor
Improvements. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to furnish such information as the Missouri Department of
Economic Development may reasonably request in connection with
the application which is herein authorized, to sign all
necessary documents on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau, to
furnish such assurances to the Missouri Department of Economic
Development as may be required by law or regulation, and to
receive payment on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau.
