A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE MANAGER TO N1AKE
APPLICATION FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU FOR FEDERAL FUNDS TO CON-
STRUCT PROJECT NO. 9-23-036-03 OF THE CAPE
GIRARDEAU MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
WHEREAS, the citizens of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
have voted in favor of a proposition to issue bonds of the city in the sum
of $880, 000. 00 for the purpose of constructing project No. 9-23-036-03
for the addition of runway and other facilities for the Cape Girardeau
Municipal Airport, and
WHEREAS, the Federal Government has indicated by and through
its agencie s that it will contribute an undetermined sum for such airport
project, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that an application for and on behalf
of said city for government funds be filed, and that the City of Cape Girardeau
take whatever steps as may be necessary to obtain such government funds,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CIT Y OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MI5SOURI, That Paul Frederick, Mana.ger of
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, be directed to prepare and make such
application to the United Sta.tes, through its admini�trative agencies, for
federal fundsfor Project No. 9-23-036-03, for the improvement of the Cape
Girardeau Municipal Airport facilities, and that such Manager be directed
to execute any and all applications, forms or other papers required by the
United States to be executed for and on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau„
