RESOLUTTON IN RESPECT OF DR. J. �. COCHRA�
RESOLUTZON
WHEREAS, Dr. J. H. Cochran has, for many years, been
an active and devoted physician and surgeon in the City of Cape
Girardeau; and
WHEREAS, Dr. J. H. Cochra� served as a member of the
� Board of Health of the City of Cape Girardeau and devoted a con-
siderable and extensiv� amount of his time and efforts towards
the public health and welfare of the community; and
WHEftEAS, Dr. Cochran recently accepted appointment as
one of a committee of six local citizen� to advise with and work
with the Mayor and City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau in
public h�alth and sanitation matter5; and
WHEREAS, Dr. J. H. Cochran recently departed this life
and his loss has been and will be felt by the citizens of this
eornmunity and the members of the City Council;
NO�, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, tha� the City Council of
the City of Cape Gir.ardeau, Mi�souri, in r�gular session assembled
this 4th day of May, 1953, that the love and respect for Dr. Cochran
and the esteem in which he was held by the residents of this city be
expressed by resolution spread upon the minutes of the regular
session of the City Council.
Be it Further resolved that a copy of thi� resolution be
for�arded to Dr. Cochran�s farnily and another copy thereof b� for-
warded to the Cape Girardeau County M�dical Society.
