CERTZFZCATION OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, UNDER
THE FEDER.AL HOUSING PROGR.AM FOR A "WORKABLE PROGRAM" WITH THE
POWER T0 EXECUTE DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU
50 AS TO QUALTFY FOR THE "WORKABLE PROGRAM" .

WHEREAS, the City of Cape Girardeau has taken action to
authorize the Local Housing Authority to secure a Federal Grant
for lOQ units of low-rent housing; and
WHEREA5, there is a need to work with the United States
Government in preparing the necessary forms and papers to
quality for such Federal Grant in establishing a "Workable Program'°.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, A5 FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Manager of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, i,s hereby authorized to take the necessary action to
secure a certification of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
under the Federal Housing Program for a "Workable Program", with
the powe.r in the City Manager to execute such documents and
papers on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as are
necessary to qualify the City of Cape Girardeau for the "Workable
Program" .
