INTEREST ITd r1 CERTAIN LAWSUIT FILED BY WE5TBOROUGH MALL, INC.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
rezoned certain land in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and
WHEREAS, a lawsuit was filed April 5, 1979 in the Circuit
Court of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri styled 4�estborough MaZI,
Inc. a corporation v. Paul W. Stehr, et al, Case No. CV679-143CC;
and
WHER�AS, the City Council de�ir�s to hire Stephen E. Strom
of the Ff.nch, Bradshaw, Strorn & Steel law firm as special City
Attorney to r�present the City's inter�st in the said lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
l. The City Council of the Ci.ty of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
hereby authorizes and directs the City l�anagcr to hire Stephen E.
Strom of the Finch, Bradshaw, Strom & Steele law firm, 325 Broac�.way,
Cape Girardeau, Mis�ouri, as Special City Attorney to represent
the City's interest in the lawsuit filed April 5, 1979 in the
Circuit Court of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, styled Westborough
Mall, Inc. a corporation v. Paul W. Stehr, et al, Case No. CV679-
143CC. ,
