Missouri, during which all intareste8 re�idents in the neighborhaod were given an opportunity to voice th�ir opinions on the projecti and WHEFt�A5, legai public notic� wa� published in the 5outheast Mi�sourian, a daily ne�spaper, in the City of Cap� Girardeau, Missouri, on �tarch 23, 25 and 26, 1979 inviting al1 int�resteci persons to appear and voice their opinions on the pro��ct and further notifying said persons that th� apartments are intended to serve low anc3 moderate income families a�nd fo= the elderly and handicapped and shall be assisted witb Section 8 Housing Assistance Pay�nts. IdOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R�St3LVED BY TI�E COUNCIL C}F THE CTTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MT5SUURI, AS FOLLOWS: l. That a public hearing an this pro�ect wa�s he2d at 7:OU F.M. on April 2, 1979, at �30 South Spring, Cape Girarc�eau, Mis�onri, inviting all intere�ted citiaens, resident� and property owners �or an opportunity to express their views on the p=opo�ed projact; and 9. Stehr, Mayor P�tembers of the City Council City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri 63701 Re: Cloverleaf Housing Corporation d/b/a Cape LaCroix Apartments Gentlemen: On April 4 , 1979 the Council passed a resolution at my request, approving the application by the Cape LaCroix P,part- ments for additional funds for phase III of its operation which includes 132 units. Sometime last year phase II which consists of 40 units was submitted to the Missouri Housing Development Commission and at that time a city resolution and public hearing were not required on that application. However, now it seems that the project development of_ficer of the commission wants us to include phase II in the resolu� tion that we have passed for phase III. I advised tliem that it would be subject to the Council ' s approval to ar.lending its present resolution. I am hereby submitting a request that the �ouncil amend its resolution adopted on April 4 , 1979 to include phases II and III and to state that it now consists of 172 units.
