A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE
SERVICE AND DEDICATION OF CITY ATTORNEY FRED
BOECKMANN DURING HIS TENURE WITH THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU
WHEREAS, Mr . Fred Boeckmann was appointed to the position of
City Attorney for the City of Cape Girardeau in October of 1982 ;
and
�7HEREAS, Mr . Boeckmann has served the City of Cape Girardeau
and its citizens, City Council Members and fellow staff inembers
with integrity, distinction and honor , rendering invaluable
service; and
47HEREAS, Mr , Boeckmann is a distinguished member of the
Missouri Municipal Attorneys Association, the Missouri Bar , the
Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce and the National Institute of
Municipal Law Officers; and
WHEREAS, the dedication to service of Fred Boeckmann has
advanced the success of Municipal Government in Cape Girardeau;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
r,,, CAPE GIRARDEAU AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The City Council hereby expresses deep
appreciation on behalf of the citizens of Cape Girardeau for
Fred Boeckmann ' s sincere and dedicated service of the caliber
that allows the City of Cape Girardeau to be proud of their
public servants .
SECTION 2 . The City Council expresses deepest gratitude and
appreciation for Fred Boeckmann 's outstanding contribution to
community service .
SECTION 3 . The City Council extends best wishes to Fred
Boeckmann in his future career endeavors .
