A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BLACK AND VEATCH,
CONSULTING ENGINEERS, TO INVESTIGATE THE
LOWER REACHES OF CAPE LaCROIX CREEK AND
REPORT ON POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS TO THE STORM
WATER FLOODING PROBLEMS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The City Manager on behalf of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri , is authorized to enter into a contract
with Black & Veatch , Consulting Engineers , to investigate the
lower reaches of Cape LaCroix Creek and determine benefits of
improvements in accordance with the stormwater planning and
control proposal submitted by Black and Veatch dated October
10 , 1985 . The contract shall provide that Black and Veatch
� will be compensated in an amount not to exceed $34 , 200 .00 .
