A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, ON TUESDAY, JUNE 4 ,
1985 , ON THE QUESTION WHETHER TO ISSUE
$1 ,900,000 DOLLARS OF SEWAGE SYSTEM REVENUE
BONDS OF THE CITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PROVIDING FUNDS FOR IMPROVING THE SANITARY
SEWER SYSTEM
BE IT �RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . It is hereby found and declared that the vote
at the special election held in the City of Cape Girardeau ,
Missouri, on Tuesday, June 4 , 1985, on the question whether to
issue the sewage system revenue bonds of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, in an amount up to $1 ,900,000 dollars for
� the purpose of providing funds for improving the sanitary sewer
system including funds to construct a sanitary interceptor
sewer line from East of Highway 61 North generally along Cape
LaCroix Creek to the Hawthorne Pump Station , to construct a
sanitary sewer line from the new Cape LaCroix Creek interceptor
to the Rodney trunk , to construct a trunk relief sanitary sewer
line from Themis Street to Kingsway Drive and to make repairs
at the wastewater treatment plant, the cost of operation and
maintenance of said system and the principal of and interest on
said revenue bonds to be payable solely from the revenues
derived by the City from the operation of its sewage system,
including all future extensions and improvements thereto was as
follows :

TOTAL 3, 3 94 Votes
SECTION 2. It is hereby found and declared that a majority
of the qualified voters of the City voting on said question at
said election voted in favor of issuing the sewage system
revenue bonds of the City in an amount up to $1 ,900,000 for the
purpose aforesaid , and the governing body of the City is
therefore vested with full power and authority to proceed with
the issuance of said bonds .
,,-. SECTION 3. It is further found and declared that Notice of
the election was duly given by publication in the manner
�'* provided by law and that the election was held and conducted in
all respects in conformity with the Constitution and laws of
the State of Missouri .
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval .
