A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
FILE AN APPLICATION WITH THE MISSOURI
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, WATER
POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM FOR A GRANT UNDER
THE MISSOURI CLEAN WATER LAW FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A SANITARY Ir1TERCEPTOR SEWER
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
and file on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau , Missouri , with
the State of Missouri , Department of Natural Resources, Water
Pollution Control Program for a grant to aid in the construction
of a sanitary interceptor sewer .
SECTION 2 . City Manager , Gary A. Eide, is hereby authorized
and directed to furnish such information as the Missouri
Department of Natural Resources may reasonably request in
connection with the application herein authorized, to sign all
necessary documents on behalf of the City, to furnish such
assurances to the Department of Natural Resources as may be
required by law or regulation, and to receive payment on behalf of
the City of Cape Girardeau .
