A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING SL7PPORT OF AN INCREASE
IN THE MISSOURI STATE MOTOR FUEL TAX
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau
expresses support of an increase in the Missouri State Motor
Fuel Tax .
SECTION 2 . Passage of an increase of the Missouri State
Motor Fuel Tax will result in enhanced economic development to
the State of Missouri and the Southest Missouri region .
SECTION 3 . This Resolution sh all be communicated to
citizens of Cape Girardeau urging their support in favor of the
passage of a four cent increase of the Missouri State Motor Fuel
Tax at tne April 7 , 1987 , election .
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 2ND DAY OF MARCH, 1987 .
