A RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT FOR THE
LEXINGTON AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS , the City Council has previously determined to
construct Lexinqton Avenue in accordance with certain plans now
existing and now under preparation , and
WHEREAS , the Lexington Avenue improvement project has been
included in the City ' s Capital Improvement Plan , and
WHEREAS , the City Council has previously determined that it
intends to tax bill the abutting property owners on the Lexington
Avenue improvement project a maximum of Twenty-Five Dollars
(�25 . 00 ) per front foot .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1 . The City Council of Cape Girardeau , Missouri ,
hereby reaffirms its intention to tax bill and assess to abutting
property owners a maximum of Twenty-Five Dollars (�25 .00) per
front foot for the Lexington Avenue improvement project .
