A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO AMENDMENT N0. 3 TO A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES CONTRACT 4JITH CRAWFORD, MURPHY & TILLY,
INC. , CONSULTING ENGINEERS, FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO
THE TERMINAL BUILDING AT THE CAPE GIRARDEAU
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE. The City Manager , for and on behalf of the City of
Cape Girardeau , Missouri , is hereby authorized to enter into
Amendment No . 3 to a Professional Services Contract dated
December 21 , 1989 , with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc . , Consulting
Engineers, for improvements to the Terminal Building at the Cape
Girardeau Municipal Airport . A copy of said Amendment No . 3 is
attached to this Resolution and made a part hereof .

PROJECT AGREEMENT NUMBER 3 TO CONTRACT
THIS PROJECT AGREEMENT which amends the Professional Services Contract
dated�ecember 21.1989 made and entered into this 10�-�`1 day of
_�990 by and between the CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, a municip 1
corporation, acting by and through ita City Council, hereinafter referred
to as "SPONSOR" and CRAWFORD, MURPHY & TILLY, INC. Consulting Engineers,
hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT".
WHEREAS, Sponsor requires professional services of the Consultant to
provide necessary engineering and related services for a study, evaluation
and recommendations for improvements to the Existing Airport Terminal
Building at Cape Girardeau Municipal Airport, and WHEREAS, the Consultant
has agreed to provide professional services which ahall include
architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering •
services. �
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and agreement
hereinafter set forth, it is agreed as follows:

L1 The Consultant shall provide professional Architectural and
Engineering services for the project in accordance with the terms and
conditions of this agreement. Compensation for services outlined in
Paragraph II Part A of the Professional Service Contract and further
� described in this agreement, shall be at a charge out rate with a maximum
cost not to exceed $7610_00. (See APPENDIX 2 Consultant Services Cost and
letter from Holshouser & Associates.) .
L2 Payments for services under Article Ll shall be made in accordance
with the following schedule:
a. SPONSOR agrees to pay the CONSULTANT for services performed
under Part A as described in the Profeasional Services Contract
upon completion of and acceptance of the report.

2-1 The Consultants Scope of Services ahall consist of the following:
a. The Consultant shall provide the neceesary professional
service9 for the study and evaluation containing layouts and
aketchea depicting the basic conceptual features of the project '
and aetting forth the Consultant's finding's and recommendationa
regarding alternate aolutions available to the Sponsor with
opinions of probable cost for project No. 1 ae detailed in the
grant preapp13c29io0n�c��te�c�January 24, 1990 and identified as AIP
Pro�ect No.
b. The Coneultant agrees to perform said engineering and
architectural aervicea required for the above described pro�ect
upon written notice to proceed by the Sponsor.
2.2 The Consultant shall aubmit the study to the Sponsor for review and
approval, not more than �Q_calendar days after Notice to Proceed is
given.
