A RESOLUTION URGING THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER
COMMISSION TO ESTABLISH A MUSEUM IN THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE 1 . That the Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau ,
Missouri , is herebv authorized by a vote of the Citv Council to
communicate with thE Mississippi River Commission in reaard to the
possibilitv of establishinq a museum for the United States Armv
Corps of Enaineers in the City of Cape Girardeau.
ARTICLE 2. That the Mayor is authorized to notify the
Mississippi River Commission that the City of Cape Girardeau ,
Missouri , would like to be considered as a location for permanent
moorina of the Motor Vessel Mississippi and for the establishment
of a museum for the United States Armv Corps of Enqineers aboard
such motor vessel .
