A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR
CERTIFIED LOCAL GOVERNMENT STATUS WITH THE STATE
HISTORIC PRESERVATION OFFICE

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE l . That the Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, and the City Staff is hereby authorized and directed to
prepare and submit an application to the Missouri State Historic
Preservation Office to seek Certified Local Government Status for
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri .
