A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
r4ISS0URI , IN HONOR OF GEIR KNUTSON
WHEREAS, Geir Knutson is a professional musician of
international reputation and standing; and
WHEREAS, Geir Knutson is a teacher and musical educator ; and
WHEREAS, Geir Knutson has recently visited the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri , and the Southeast Missouri State University
campus ; and
WHEREAS, Geir Knutson has composed a new musical work entitled
"Cape Girardeau" .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council of Cape Girardeau hereby honors Nr . Geir
Knutson for his musical skills and abilities and hereby expresses
its public appreciation for his work as a musical composer and
extends its thanks to him for his composition entitled "Cape
Girardeau" .
