BILL NO. 92-182 RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR DISBURSEMENT OF
FUNDS ASSESSED AS COURT COSTS FOR VICTIMS OF
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, has adopted Bill No. 92-171 providing for the imposition
of additional court costs to secure funding for assistance to
victims of domestic violence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. All additional Municipal Court costs collected for
victims of domestic violence pursuant to Bill No. 92-171, duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, are hereby directed to be paid to the Safe House for
Women, Inc. , a not-for-profit corporation, to be expended for the
purposes of providing assistance to victims of .domestic violence.
