A RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING THE CITY'S PROCEDURE
TO DISCLOSE POTENTIAL CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
AND SUBSTANTIAL INTERESTS FOR CERTAIN
MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS
WHEREAS, Missouri State Statutes Chapter 115, provide that
cities may adopt their own requirements with respect to disclosure
of potential conflicts of interest and substantial interests, and
WHEREAS, the state statute requires that this adoption be done
annually by ordinance, order or resolution, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did on September 3, 1991, adopt
Ordinance No. 1072 , which ordinance adopted a procedure for
' disclosure of potential conflicts of interest and substantial
interests for certain municipal officials.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. That Ordinance No. 1072 is hereby reaffirmed in
each and every respect as the policy of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, for the procedures for disclosure of potential conflicts
of interest and substantial interests for certain municipal
officials, all pursuant to Missouri State Statutes, Chapter 115.
