A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COUNCIL POLICY FOR
FEE INCREASES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, may not adopt an increase in any tax, license fee, user
fee, utility or other charge in excess of five per cent (5%) of
such tax, license fee, user fee, utility or other charge during any
twelve (12) month period without first obtaining the consent of the
majority of the voters of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
