A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
SIGN AN EASEMENT WITH UNION ELECTRIC FOR AN
ELECTRIC POWER LINE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City Manager, for and on behalf of the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby authorized to sign an easement
with Union Electric for an electric power line. A copy of said
Easement is attached to this Resolution and made a part hereof.

An easement twentv (20) feet in width lyinq north of and ad�acent
to the South propertv line of two tracts of land recorded in the
Land Records of the County Records Office in Book 498 at pacie 24
and Book 509 at paqe 31, out lot No. 61, United States Private
Survev No. 2199, Townshio 30 North._ Ranae 13 East of the Fifth
Principal Meridian, Citv and Countv of Cape Girardeau State of
Missouri.
with the right of ingress and egress to and over the above described premisa and the premises of Granror ad-
joining the same, for all purposes herein scaeed, cogecher with the right co crim or cvt down or ca�sse to be
ttimmed or cut down at any time and from time to time, any and all brush, saplings, trees, over-hanging
branches or other obstrunions upon said premises and the premises of Granror adjoining the same which
may be deemed ro interfere wich the coostruction, maincenance or use of, or endanger the safery of, said
line or lines; and the right to license, permit or otherwise a6ree co the use or occupancy of-said line or lines
by any other person, association or corporation for elec[ric, telephone and corsununicauon purposu; and with
the further righc to remove at any time any or all of rhe said line or lines, and appurrenances chereto, erected
upon,over or under said land by virtue hereof.
Grantoc, for itself, its heirs, succeswrs and assigns, does hereby� warnnt and covenant unto Grantee (1)
that it is the owner of the above described land and has full right and auchoriry validly to grant this easement,
(2) that Grantce may quiedy enjoy rhe premises for the purposes herein staced, and (3) chat ic will noc create
or permit any obstnaion of any kind or characcer that will interfere with the successfu! operauon and main-
tenance of said line or lines for any of che purposes aforesaid.
