AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A COLLECTOR'S DEED FROM
CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
416 SECOND STREET, IN THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts, and agrees to accept, a Collector's Deed from the Cape
Girardeau County Collector for lands sold for delinquent taxes, for
property located at 416 Second Street, in the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, described as follows:
All of the East 63 feet of Lot
Subdivision of part of Out
Girardeau, Missouri
1, Block 9, Roberson and Gale's
lot 69, in the City of Cape
County Parcel No: 16-716-00-21-00800-0000
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.

the undersigned collector of the county of CAPE GIRARDEAU , State of Missouri, (known as"Grantor"),
did receive from City of Cape Girardeau ,whose mailing address is
44 N LORIMIER , Cape Girardeau MO 63703 , of the county of CAPE GIRARDEAU ,
State of Missouri"known as"Grantee(s)", a certificate of purchase, in writing bearing the date, 23rd day of
August 2021 , signed by BARBARA GHOLSON who at the last mentioned date was Collector of
said county,from which it appears that the said City of Cape Girardeau did
on the 23rd day of August, 2021 , purchase at public auction at the the County Administration Building, in
Jackson, in said county,the tract, parcel or lot of land lastly in the indenture described, and which lot was sold to
City of Cape Girardeau for the sum of $ 103.83
One Hundred Three Dollars and Eighty Three Cents
being the amount due on the following tracts or lots of land, returned delinquent in the name of
NEACE CHARLES&DELORIS ET UX Grantor(s)for the non-payment of taxes, costs and charges
for the years: 2019 , 2020 ,
Witnesseth: That the said Grantor,for and in consideration of the premises, has granted, bargained and sold
unto the said Grantee, successors and assigns,forever,the tract or parcel of land mentioned in said
certificate, situated in the County of Cape Girardeau and State of Missouri,and described as follows:

Said lands have been recorded,among other tracts, in the office of said Collector as delinquent for the
non-payment of taxes, costs and charges due for the year last aforesaid, and legal publication made of the sale
of said lands, and it appearing that the said: City of Cape Girardeau
is the legal owner of said certificate of purchase and the time fixed by law for redeeming the land therein
described having now expired,the said NEACE CHARLES&DELORIS ET UX
nor any person in his/her/their behalf having paid or tendered the amount due the said
NEACE CHARLES&DELORIS ET UX on account of the aforesaid purchase, and for the
taxes by him/her/them since paid, and the said City of Cape Girardeau
having demanded a deed for the tract of land last mentioned in said certificate, and which was the least
quantity of the tract above described that would sell for the amount due thereon for taxes, costs and charges,
as above specified, and it appearing from the records of said County Collector's office that the aforesaid lands
were legally liable for taxation, and had been duly assessed and properly charged on the tax book with taxes

To have and to hold the said last mentioned tract or parcel of land,with the appurtenances thereto belonging,
to the said Grantee, successors and assigns forever, in as full and ample a manner as the Collector of said
county is empowered by law to sell same
